Who is Maria?

1. Getting to Know me

Hello there! I'm Maria Claudia Gutierrez, but you can just call me Maria. I'm thrilled to join the Travix✈🛫 marketing team as the Content Marketing Intern for the UK, US, and Asia/Pacific regions😊. I am from Lima, Peru and I moved to Amsterdam back in August 2021 to pursue my studies in Communication Science at the University of Amsterdam.

Now, as I am on my third year of university, I'm excited for my internship, which marks the culmination of my bachelor's program. Just last month, I finished my thesis on Corporate Communication, and now I'm eager to put theory into practice☺!

Empathy, proactivity, and teamwork are at the core of who I am. I also love to work in collaborative environments. Moreover, I am a punctual and organized person, which I know will serve me well in this position. I am not just here to fulfill my duties; I am here to gain experience and contribute meaningfully to the Travix marketing team!

2. My Favorite Past Holiday

Last month, I got the internship position as a Content Marketer at Travix. My parents were very happy and proud of me and they booked me a ticket to visit them in Lima. This was definitely my favorite holiday because I spent a lot of time with them after so long.

Picture this: we visited the beaches 🌞 and we swam in the pool💧⛱. But that's not all, we ate the best food in the world: Peruvian food😎.

For me, it wasn't just a vacation. It was a reunion with the people that I love the most in my favorite place in the world.

Fun Fact: Did you know that Peru is known for its culinary food? Last year, a Peruvian restaurant called 'Central' won the title of the best restaurant in the world.🍴🍴

3. What do I want to learn from this internship?

I want to become an expert in SEO and in CMS. I believe that these are super important tools for any marketing professional. I am super happy that I get to learn new things through these trainings!

But do you know what really gets me excited? The chance not only to grow technically but also personally. I want to grow as a professional in this nice working environment and getting to know different people from different cultures and backgrounds is truly a blessing. Cheers to this new beginning!❤
