Rome , the capital city of Italy is served by two international airports: Leonardo da Vinci airport and Roma Ciampino airport. Roma Ciampino airport is located at about 15 kms from the city center and Leonardo da Vinci airport is located at about 33 kms from the city center.The Leonardo da Vinci airport has 5 terminals all of which are at a walking distance. Buses are one of the convenient modes of transportation to get into the City.Terravision shuttle services from both the airports run to Rome Termini daily with connections to the metro A line at Lepanto. Taxi facility at Roma Ciampino airport can be availed of right opposite the arrivals lounge and it is always advisable to use authorized taxis.
